Every year on March 22 to March 28 , is “China Water Week” . The kindergarten takes this as an educational opportunity to carry out a series of theme activities, teachers and students get together to understand the source of water, explore the story of water, establish the awareness of saving water and cherishing water resources, and put it into practical action.
 
The theme of this year's is: Cherish groundwater, cherish hidden resources.
 
According to the characteristics of the children and the actual situation of the class, the teacher carried out a variety of teaching activities with simple and easy-to-understand children's songs, stories, pictures and short videos around the themes of "World Water Day" and "China Water Week", so that children could understand the origin of "World Water Day" and "China Water Week" and cultivate children's to cherish water resources. China is a country with very rich water resources, but because of its large population, it’s a water-scarce country as well, and the per capita freshwater resources account for only a quarter of the world's per capita ownership. The teacher guides the children to talk about the places where water is needed in life, and teaches the children to cherish every drop of water and not to waste precious water resources.
 
Homework for the week can also be assigned: young children and parents will develop family water-saving programs, to discuss whether there is waste water in the home, and further improvements to promote home co-parenting.



In order to better conserve water, the children decided to start with themselves. Back in the classroom, the children took out colored pens to depict the use of water, water conservation initiatives and logos, and posted the "Warm Tips for Water Conservation" drawn by hand in a conspicuous place, reminding everyone to save water and love water.
